Most security cameras out there have small LEDs indicators that flash or change the color when it’s connected to another device.

In the case of Blink cameras when they have connected to the module the light change to a solid green color which means it’s connected successfully.

Also, there are other LEDs used in cameras as power indicators to alert you when the battery runs out or needs to recharge.
